About Tijara Pages

All praise is due to Allah (swt) who allowed this project to become a reality.

Tijara (pronounced; tee-jar-ra) is the Arabic word for business.

Tijara Pages provides the British Muslim community, and UK consumers in general, with an information point on businesses that offer services or products that are in accordance with the Islamic requirements of Halal. Users can simply search for the business they are looking for, either by name, category or location.

Tijara Pages works in much the same way as does Yellow Pages or Thomson Directory. However, the afore-mentioned publications do not cater for the needs of the Muslim community. You cannot find specific entries for halal butchers, mosques or Islamic bookshops in the Yellow Pages for example.

Tijara Pages not only lists businesses, but also non-profit making organisations such as mosques, charities, and Islamic schools and madrassas.

We even accept submissions from people operating their businesses from home, such as tailors/seamstresses, web designers, builders, etc.

Our aim, insha'Allah, is for Tijara Pages to become the largest online directory of Shariah compliant businesses in the UK.
